“Eventful. I scared Alan by being in his bed when he woke up. Had a heart to heart with Syn, and celebrated Sita’s birthday.” Smiling he placed another butterfly kis on the others lips. “How was your day?”

“Ah..I see…” He glances down, biting his lip before hugging the other tightly. He held onto the other tightly. “It wasn’t as eventful as your day, of course…”

“Hey baby wont you look my way? I could be your new addiction.”

  Hearing the loud music play around him, Calum smiled. He was in a ice cream parlor he found not to long ago that was a bus stop away from his house. It was perfect for a date, especially since the other hadn’t been here for so long. Hearing the olden red jukebox play the song he looked around the little shop.

  It was Calum’s little secret slice of heaven, it was like whenever he was in this shop he walked right into the 1930s. That was one of his favorite time periods, the dancing, the clothing, the terms. Asides from the Depression it wasn’t that bad of a time. That and the place was quaint, quiet and just a bundle of fun, and Calum had recently gotten to know the owner well.

  Sitting excitedly for his date to come and find the place Calum couldn’t help waiting to share this place with his lover. Grinning, his black and white button down shirt that he tucked into this blank pants, his hair slick back slightly, his phone shone with a text stating the other was almost there.

‘Ah…I hope I’m not late…’

Kai jogged quickly to the destination Calum told him to meet. He bit his lip, checking the time for the fifth time in the past seven minutes. He didn’t want to make the other wait. He doubted that Calum would be too upset if he was, but Kai didn’t want to take advantage of the other’s kindness. He already did that once. He didn’t want to do it again.

The young genius sighed, looking down at his clothes. He had been at the library when he suddenly remembered their date, so he didn’t have time to change out of his average, baggy clothes. Kai felt himself blush. Even if they were dating and living together, the act of a date still made him a bit embarrassed. He couldn’t say that he was used to it. He had never had a date while attending high school or college. Calum was his first boyfriend. He didn’t know how to act. What should he do? He really wished he had thought to find some way for information before going out.

Breathing deeply he, he entered the small ice cream parlor. He was instantly overwhelmed with the creamy smell of different flavored ice cream. A flush settled on his cheeks as he smiled. ‘This place…reminds me of Calum…’ He glanced around quickly, noting the music playing in the background. Brown eyes landed on his lover. Blushing, he couldn’t stop his heart from beating irregularly when he saw the other. He managed to compose himself and calmly walk to the other. He smiled, glancing down.

     “I’m…here.”
